We all like to be able to think that we live to a ripe old age and stay fit and healthy along the way. Fit and healthy doesn’t just happen and is not there as a matter of course, it takes dedication and effort.
Look around yourself at other people; you can generally pick the ones who have paid attention to their over-all health. There is vibrancy about them and they move more freely. This comes from living a balanced lifestyle.
Eat well by eliminating most junk food and processed foods. If you can eat organic then do so. A green smoothie made from commercial vegetables can be likened to eating a chemical cocktail because of the large amounts of toxic sprays to grow the plants including the glycol sulphate in roundup and other commercial weed killer. Tests have found high levels of this in the plants we consume and it has a devastating effect on your health.
If you have no choice but to eat these commercially available food items then make sure you wash your fruits and vegetable in something like white vinegar to lift as much residue as you can of them before consuming them. The closer to the natural state that you eat your food the better it is for you.
If you eat right then you feel better and exercise comes more easily to you. It is important to pay attention to all areas of your health that includes body mind and spirit as they one helps to balance the other. Another way of saying this is clean eating, clean thinking and personal growth or eat well, exercise and meditate.
